Cool Calm Pete - Lost

Cool Calm Pete couldn't have picked a better alias for himself. Chilled out beats and slow-paced witty rhymes, Pete is relaxed and in no hurry. I would call his style lazy if he wasn't so fucking clever. A former member of New York underground hip hop collective "Babbletron", this is his Def Jux debut and first solo album. Not exactly the greatest fit for Def Jux in my opinion, but it was definately a good call for them just getting his music out there. Got me thinking, "Damn we need more Korean emcees out there.....". He refers to the Iraq war as "reruns of Viet Nam", what's not to love? My favorite tracks: The List, Tune In, and Two A.M. So get "Lost" then get lost.
